Trinity Health Medical Group is seeking a Neuro-Ophthalmologist to join our Hauenstein Neurosciences team located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Trinity Health Hauenstein Neurosciences is the area’s most well-established, comprehensive Neuroscience Program. From Epilepsy, Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease to Sleep Disorders and Spine Care, Hauenstein Neurosciences is able to treat a wide range of nervous system conditions – all with state-of-the-art technology featuring the latest techniques and a compassionate focus on healing the mind, body, and spirit.

Opportunity Highlights:

• We are West Michigan’s only Neuro-Ophthalmology program. Providing comprehensive Neuro-Ophthalmological and medical evaluation of diseases that affect the visual pathways and control of eye movements.
• Services include:
  • Diagnosis and treatment of visual problems related to the nervous system.
  • Diagnosis and treatment of unexplained or sudden vision loss. 
  • Neuro-Ophthalmologic testing such as visual acuity, visual field testing, pupillary reactivity, color perception, ocular alignment and optical coherence tomography, among others.
  • Comprehensive patient and family education.
• Strong interdisciplinary model of care: RN, MA, Neuro-Ophthalmology technicians, MSW, Patient Support Coordinator, PT, OT, and Vestibular Rehab.
