The Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Center of Albany Med Health System is seeking a full-time BC/BE neurologist who has completed fellowship training in movement disorders.  The position is intended for a highly motivated clinician/scientist at the assistant, associate, or full professor level.  The successful applicant will participate in a busy outpatient practice and will also be expected to participate in the conduct of an active clinical trial and collaborative research program.  Ideally, candidates will have expertise in the management of patients treated with DBS and botulinum toxin therapy. A commitment to the teaching of residents and medical students is required.

The salary range $220-240K represents base salaries for an Assistant Professor’s appointment. They do not include the incentive bonus that is paid quarterly, which adds to the total compensation.
