Neurohospitalist Vascular Medical Director

Houston Methodist Willowbrook is currently seeking a Vascular NeuroHospitalist to join a well-respected practice and serve as the Medical Director for a Comprehensive Stroke Center Program in a rapidly growing area of NW Houston.

Key Responsibilities:

·Lead internal performance evaluations, create performance standards, and oversee the ongoing development of the program. This role requires balancing internal group development with external collaboration with hospital leadership.

·Mentor and develop the team, ensuring alignment with the hospital's strategic goals and continuous improvement of clinical and operational skills.

·Proactively identify opportunities to enhance patient care and operational efficiency, using innovative problem-solving approaches. Leverage data and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement in key performance indicators such as length of stay, readmission rates, and patient satisfaction.

·Perform a mix of administrative and clinical duties, actively participate in hospital-based committees, and collaborate closely with the Physician Organization (PO), APP leadership, and the CQO to ensure the highest quality outcomes.

Qualifications:

·Must be Board Certified in Neurology and completed stroke fellowship

·Ability to obtain a Texas medical license or currently hold a Texas medical license in good standing.

·Leadership experience preferred.
