The General Neurology Division of the Department of Neurology at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Clinical Neurology. Job Functions:
- Treatment and prevention of neurological disease, specializing in the treatment and care for patients of general neurologic disorders in the outpatient settings throughout UHealth
- Train/mentor medical students, neurology residents and fellows
- Preparation and presentation at teaching conferences
- Obtain data and results that can be used to submit an application for future clinical research awards
- Provide coverage on inpatient service as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires an MD/DO degree from a recognized accredited University (or foreign equivalent).
- Neurology board certification/board eligibility is required

- Excellent communications skills (face to face, over the phone and in writing)
- Excellent bedside manner and patient care
- Ability to work collaboratively with other employees
- Excellent organizational skills
