Neurohospitalist

We are a growing physician owned neurosciences private practice seeking a BC/BE Neurologist to join our team as a Neurohospitalist.  This is a 1099 position earning not only a very competitive call stipend, but incentive based package as well.  This is a 7a-5pm position, 2 weeks/month with ZERO call.  Teleneurology takes over at night.   

The Position

• Join an established, cohesive group of neurologists and radiologists
• The successful candidate should be ACGME neurology residency trained, BC/BE in Neurology
• Vascular Neurology or Neurocritical Care Fellowship Preferred but not required
• Opportunity to do as much outpatient work as desired for extra income, teaching residents in a slow paced clinic.
• $450,000 to $550,000 per year 1099 income
• Great work/life balance with half the year off, and no night call.  Ability to earn more income with moonlighting

The Hospital:

• Medium Volume, thrombectomy capable hospital, underserved patient population.
• Work with a second neurohospitalist to cover 365 days per year
• Work with a team of neurointerventionalists, neurosurgeons, and neuro ICU doctors with dedicated neuro ICU beds.
• Beautiful scenic area along the Sacramento River, at the base of three mountain ranges with endless outdoor opportunities, in a small city.
