The Department of Neurology at Columbia University, nationally renowned for scientific research, clinical care, and medical education, is seeking a full-time neurologist at the Associate Professor level specialized in the area of Hospitalist Neurology. It is an outstanding opportunity to be part of one of the few programs in the country dedicated to Hospitalist Neurology, currently with 12 faculty members that include subspecialists in Neuro-Infectious Disease, Cerebrovascular Disease/Stroke, Neuro-oncology, and Movement Disorders, alongside a vibrant team of highly skilled APPs. Columbia Hospitalist Neurology lends expertise in providing cutting-edge, personalized emergency and inpatient neurological care across our network of hospitals: the New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University Irving Medical Center, the largest and one of the leading tertiary care hospitals in New York City; New York Presbyterian-Allen Hospital, a community hospital in the northern tip of Manhattan; and New York Presbyterian-Westchester Hospital, a community hospital in southern Westchester County, New York.
Successful applicants will have an academic appointment at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, the medical school of Columbia University, and be eligible for all the Columbia University benefits available for the faculty appointment.
The Neurohospitalist is expected to attend on the Inpatient Neurology Services and the Neurology Consult Services, participate in Neurology resident training and medical student education, and engage in Quality Improvement initiatives. This is a full-time position, which may combine Neurohospitalist and specialty neurology practice and research, based on the specialty training and research interests of the applicant for the position.

- M.D. or M.D. /PhD.
- Board Certified/Eligible in Neurology
- Completion of New York Presbyterian Hospital credentialing before starting
