Assistant Professor-Neuromuscular

The Department of Neurology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine is seeking an academically-oriented Neuromuscular Neurologist for a full-time outpatient clinical position, including EMG/NCS and opportunities for teaching and clinical research. Compensation is highly competitive and the USF Neuromuscular program is one of the largest in the Southeast, with nationally recognized centers of excellence in myasthenia gravis, CIDP and ALS, among others, and a large and diverse clinical research portfolio.  USF Neurology is a large, diverse department having comprehensive divisions providing state-of-the-art services and clinical trials in every major subspecialty area within Neurology.   USF Health is the major provider of tertiary care medical service to Tampa Bay and much of Florida’s west coast; this region includes some of the world's most beautiful beaches and largest recreation centers.   As a place to live, Tampa bay offers an excellent quality of life, as both a major metro area and a world-renowned coastal resort community.  

 Qualifications:

Candidates will have completed an ACGME approved neurology residency and have fellowship training in Neuromuscular Disease and/or Clinical Neurophysiology and be eligible to obtain licensure in the state of Florida.
