NEUROLOGIST FOR MULTISPECIALTY PRACTICE

Neurological Associates of Long Island, PC is a large, academically oriented Neurology group interested in hiring two neurologists to join our multispecialty neurology practice. We are nine neurologists all with sub-specialty training. Our office is located on the north shore of Long Island, minutes away from New York City. We have two state of the art MRIs (one open and one closed) installed in May 2024, a physical therapy suite as well as an infusion center that allows further treatment options for our large multiple sclerosis population. We perform most of the neuro-diagnostics in-house including EEG, EMG, VNG, neuromuscular ultrasound and vascular testing in a ICAVL certified vascular laboratory.

Neurological Associates has two types of positions available. One is for a neurologist with subspecialized interests who wish a majority of patients within their area of expertise. This position is predominately outpatient based. Our practice can maximize the time you spend with patients due to a full clinical and administrative support system in place, including a dedicated secretary and Registered Nurse, as well as an expert billing and management team to support your needs. Our group has a robust clinical research program; many of us serve as either the principal or sub investigator on trials for Alzheimer’s disease and multiple sclerosis.

The second is a neuro-hospitalist position. We are on staff at two hospitals, at one a member of our group, Dr. Vincent DeOrchis, serves as Chief of Neurology and Director of Stroke. We are involved in teaching both residents and medical students as well as advanced practice providers. Appropriate faculty appointment will be offered for both positions. Both full-time and part-time tracks are available.
