We are seeking a qualified General Neurologist to join our Neurology Department at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. This position involves both outpatient and inpatient care, with a focus on managing headache and dizziness disorders, as well as following up with discharged inpatients. The role also includes participating in the inpatient general neurological consultation service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage a headache clinic at Rutgers RWJMS.
- Provide care in the General Neurology Clinic.
- Participate in inpatient neurological service based on a schedule set by the Chair.
- Engage in the teaching mission of RWJMS, including instructing Neurology residents, medical students, and other rotating residents in both clinical and seminar settings.
- Contribute to community service by offering neurological care to underserved populations and educating community groups about general neurology.
- Participate in departmental and institutional administrative tasks, including committee memberships and attending faculty meetings.
- Maintain compliance with Rutgers’ standards, including adherence to RBHS’s Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct, and Conflict of Interest Policy.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Corporate Compliance Responsibilities:
- Stay informed of all relevant federal, state, and Rutgers regulations, laws, and policies as they apply to your role.
- Ensure that all staff under your supervision are trained and evaluated on their adherence to compliance policies and procedures specific to their roles.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency program.
- Board certification in Neurology.
- Strong commitment to patient care, education, and community service.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
