General Neurologist - Outpatient
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 4 or 4.5 days per week
Location: Berlin NH and outreach clinics

Job Description:
We are looking for a compassionate General Neurologist to join our healthcare team in Northern New Hampshire at Androscoggin Valley Hospital. This full-time outpatient role (4 to 4.5 days per week) is ideal for a physician who values community-focused care in a rural setting. You will work alongside another highly skilled neurologist and a dedicated team to provide comprehensive care to patients with a range of neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage conditions that may include:
- Migraine
- Memory loss
- Essential tremor
- Parkinson’s disease
- Cognitive impairment
- Dizziness
- Epilepsy
- Multiple sclerosis
- Polyneuropathy
- Headache
- Provide outpatient care for adolescents (16+) and adults, new and established.
- Collaborate with/refer to other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care (e.g., cardiology, orthopedics, pain management, pulmonology, sleep medicine, and therapy services).
- Medication management
- Education and counseling of patients and families
- Ordering diagnostic tests – available on-site!
Best fit:
- Special clinical interests/expertise to complement those of current neurologist and expand scope of services to our region
- Experience in general neurology (2-5 years preferred) or recent graduates with strong skills.
- Comfortable working in a rural, solo coverage environment.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Medical College with a Medical Degree
- Successful completion of a US residency program in Neurology
- Board certified or eligible by NCH Medical Staff Bylaws.
- BLS from the American Heart Association required.
