Neurology Opportunity 

Full Time * West Islip, NY 

Catholic Health Neuroscience Institute is currently seeking highly skilled and qualified Neurologists to join Catholic Health Services of Long Island (CHSLI) to provide ambulatory neurology care. We are seeking neurologists with skills and expertise in the following clinical areas who are committed to excellence in patient care.  The successful candidate will be joining our outpatient team, located in our new outpatient offices directly across from Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip. This position will be dedicated to serving the needs of patients with acute neurological disease.

 

Salary Range: $235,000- $402,428K

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s education, training, skills, licensure and certification, competencies and other relevant experience. The salary range listed does not include any bonuses, incentive pay, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.

  • Stroke & Neuro-endovascular Parkinson’s Movement Disorders         
  • Behavioral Neurology Neuromuscular/Neurophysiology        
  • Neuro-oncology Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Neurology. 

 

Primary responsibilities will include outpatient care, programmatic growth and opportunities for clinical research. Candidates will be responsible for continued growth and expansion of the Neurosciences Institute, working in a multidisciplinary approach with colleagues in numerous other specialties.  Successful candidates will join a busy and constantly growing clinical practice at Good Samaritan Hospital, a Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center, and one of the campuses of the Neuroscience Institute’s network of integrated regional hospitals. Through this opportunity, the candidate will join an internationally respected, collegial team of subspecialists with a multitude of fellowship training backgrounds in a multidisciplinary progressive patient-centered care model.  This dynamic position commands a competitive salary enhanced by an attractive benefits package.
