Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (CSMC) is a world-renowned medical center dedicated to advancing neurology vascular care through innovation, expertise, and compassion. Cedars-Sinai Neurology and Neurosurgery is named best in Los Angeles and tied for #9 in the U.S. by U.S. News & World Report. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vascular Stroke Neurologist to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in the diagnosis and management of cerebrovascular diseases and will work collaboratively with our team of neurologists, neurosurgeons, and rehabilitation specialists, and supervising residents and fellows, engaging in teaching responsibilities, and pursuing scholarly activity.
You’ll be joining other stroke specialists who work in rapid-response teams from a variety of medical disciplines to diagnose and treat strokes, using the most advanced imaging technology and treatments to achieve the best possible outcome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic cerebrovascular conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for stroke patients.
- Perform and interpret neuroimaging studies, including TCD, MRI, CT, and angiography.
- Collaborate with other specialists to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding stroke prevention and rehabilitation.
- Participate in stroke care protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical research with residents and fellows.
- Engage in continuing education and professional development to stay current with advancements in the field.

Qualifications:
- Medical Degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and Vascular Neurology BC/BE or recognized equivalent.
- Unrestricted California license as Physician
- CSMC Medical Staff Membership
- Commitment to developing and fostering a multidisciplinary collaborative approach to patient care.
- Demonstrated competence in continuous quality improvement processes.
- Evidence of exceptional academic, clinical, and professional accomplishment.
- A track record of excellence in teaching, patient care and administration
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and computer competency comprised of a working knowledge of operating systems that sufficiently provides for access to patient records and communication with colleagues across the network hospitals.
Our compensation philosophy
We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown above takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package. Pay Range: $321,000 - $441,000 total cash compensation.
