As the county health network and Level-1 Trauma Center, JPS has been serving the residents of Tarrant County for over 100 years covering a 3.5+ million population. In addition to providing high-quality care, JPS is also an urban teaching hospital with a long history of training physicians and medical students. JPS offers 18 residency and fellowship programs, including the largest family medicine residency in the nation. JPS educates in tandem with the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Texas Christian University Medical School.

The Department of Internal Medicine is currently seeking Full-Time Outpatient General and Neuromovement Neurologists and Neurohospitalists to join our existing teams. The Department of Internal Medicine provides specialty services across the continuum of care at JPS. We currently have over 90 providers who work in a variety of different locations including the Main Hospital, Ambulatory Surgery Center, and our Community Medicine Clinics. Our specialties include; Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Pulmonology, Critical Care, Endocrinology, Infectious Disease, Dermatology and Rheumatology.

General Neuro Job Summary:
Outpatient clinic with the option for inpatient coverage
Joining an established group
Ability to do EMG and EEG
40hr work week with flexible clinic hours
New Resident and Fellow grads may apply
Option to work with Residents and Medical Students

Neuromovement Job Summary:
Outpatient clinic with the option for inpatient coverage
Joining an established group
Ability to do EMG
40hr work week with flexible clinic hours
New Resident and Fellow grads may apply
Option to work with Residents and Medical Students

Neurohospitalist Job Summary:
7on/7off schedule, 172 shifts/year
24hr (12hrs onsite, 12hrs remote) consult service shifts
Ability to read EEGs preferred

Option to work with Residents and Medical Students

Required Education and Experience:
Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine.
Residency training within Neurology and/or Fellowship training within a subspecialty.

Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:
Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Texas.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
