NeuroCritical Care Physician

About this role: 

As a Neuro Critical Care Physician / Neurointensivist, you will work with a high-performing, patient-centered team committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide outpatient care and inpatient consults at Intermountain Medical Center (IMED). This position includes a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, stipend and student loan repayment when applicable.

IMED is based in Salt Lake City, Utah and is a Joint Commission Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level 1 Trauma Center, Level 4 Epilepsy Center, Joint Commission Certified Spine Center with a 24 bed Neurocritical Care Unit. IMED supports neuroscience academic research and has foundational support, ranked as a top hospital by U.S. News and World Reports, 5-star CMS ranking and, Leapfrog grade A.

Provide Tele-Neurocritical Care Services for participating hospitals. Collaborate with Neurosurgeons, Neurohospitalists, Interventional Neuroradiology, Critical Care Medicine, Neurorehabilitation, and Trauma Services. Associate with outpatient neuroscience clinic’s including stroke, epilepsy, movement disorder, headache, neuro-muscular and neuroimmunology specialists. Have a flexible schedule with a mix of days and nights; 24-hour attending in-house NCC coverage with APP support.

What you’ll bring: 

Board Certified/Eligible in neurocritical care Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license U.S. ACGME Neurology Residency BLS certification and DEA  Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
