Academic Stroke, Pediatric Epilepsy Leader & Staff Neurologists Needed at NYC-Adjacent Program

An academically-affiliated program, and Brooklyn New York’s largest hospital, is excited to welcome an additional stroke neurologist to help grow its Stroke Neurology Division. The program has an opening for an additional stroke neurologists who will join their established stroke service line, which is currently comprised of 1 full-time stroke/interventional neurologist, 1 dedicated stroke neurologist, 6 APCs, and 4 residents. They are open to candidates of all skill levels, and there is the opportunity for an Associate Program Directorship title for candidates with experience. The new hires should be interested in student education, and the program is happy to support those with both clinical and basic science research interests.

Brooklyn New York’s largest hospital & only Pediatric Trauma Center, is excited to welcome additional pediatric neurologists to help grow its Division of Pediatric Neurology. The new hires will support a team comprised of 6 pediatric neurologists and mid-levels. The program is open to candidates of all skill levels, and there exists the opportunity to grow the epilepsy monitoring unit, epilepsy services, & additional subspecialties currently unavailable in the region. There is also the opportunity to build a pediatric brain injury program, spasticity clinic, and neonatal neurology program. The new hires should be interested in student education, and the program is happy to support those with both clinical and basic science research interests.

About the Pediatric Neurology Roles –

• Pediatric Epilepsy Directorship role available for qualified candidates
• Epilepsy, Clinical Neurophysiology, and General Neurology would be great fits for the program
• Epilepsy candidates that have experience with ketogenic diet, intractable epilepsy, and surgical epilepsy preferred
