Job Details
A well-established, top Children’s Hospital in California is excited to welcome a Pediatric Neurologist as Director of Neurology and Director of Neurosciences at their main campus, as well as those with interests in non-leadership roles in General Pediatric Neurology and Epilepsy. Leadership candidates subspecializing in Epilepsy would be an ideal fit, in addition to experience with Intraoperative Monitoring and Brain Mapping to help lead their cutting edge Level 4 Epilepsy Center and Epilepsy Surgery program. The position will be replacing their current Director who is planning to retire at the end of 2024.
Those with General Pediatric Neurology and Epilepsy/EEG/IOM interests would also be great fits for staff roles at their main campus. There is also the opportunity to join the system's medical center east of San Francisco, less than an hour and a half east of the Bay area, and an hour south of Sacramento. An opportunity to join their outpatient clinic north of Los Angeles is also available for those looking to be closer to LA and southern California. Both locations would have EEG-reading available, as well as opportunities for admitting to the EMU while providing weekend call and inpatient coverage at the main campus.
Director of Neurosciences Position Highlights:
- Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience
- Experience developing and/or working in a Level 4 Epilepsy Center preferred
- 80% Clinical, 20% administrative time, but schedule is flexible
