NEUROLOGIST

Opening in Modesto, California

Our Modesto Group is actively seeking an outpatient neurology generalist with any subspecialty (except neurohospitalist/stroke). Some of the team have fellowship training, and also see patients in their subspecialty. We can also train for EEG reading, straightforward EMG studies, Botox, trigger point injections, and occipital nerve blocks if interested in learning new skills. The work week is 40 hours with new patients seen for 40 minutes and returning patients are seen for 30-40 minutes as needed. We offer mixed virtual work from home and office. The Group has outpatient clinics located in Stockton and Modesto. Inpatients are covered by our TPMG Neurohospitalists and our team provides coverage when needed for vacation, holidays, etc. Our ideal candidate is trained as a general neurologist, and we welcome all subspecialties and background experience and training. The team values good patient care and a solid work ethic.

 

GENERAL NEUROLOGIST

Opening in Fresno, California

We are looking for a 4th generalist/specialist able to backup other team specialties. Outpatient practice includes new and return patient evaluation, supervision of EMG Tech for simple carpel tunnel studies, reading your own EEG’s, and possibly EMG’s. Both inpatient and outpatient neurology. Call is 1:5 with 24-hour telestroke coverage. There is also teaching opportunity with UCSF Fresno Internal Medicine residents. There is a separate memory clinic and headache clinic. If you are interested in more stroke practice, there is an option to join telestroke team.

 

NEUROLOGIST

Opening in Oakland, California

We are currently seeking a contract BE/BC outpatient general Neurologist for our Oakland Medical Center. While primarily outpatient, the group shares in providing some inpatient coverage for vacation, sick leave, and some weekends for our two neurohospitalists. We prefer fellowship training in either neuromuscular, neurophysiology, movement disorders, or headache, but open to all subspecialties. Ideal candidates can read EEGs and have experience and interest in EMG and Botox. Our ideal candidate is interested in leadership participation and may have several years of practice experience.

 

NEURO-HOSPITALIST AND CLINIC PHYSICIAN

Opening in Walnut Creek / Antioch, California

Our 15 physician neurology Group in the DSA is actively seeking a neuro-hospitalist and/or a neurologist interested in a mix of inpatient and clinic work. Additionally, we are open to hearing from outpatient neurologists. Because we have large group of colleagues, calls are infrequent and we also have a neurohospitalist covering half of the weekends at this time. The practices are located in the DSA comprised of 3 clinics in Dublin, Walnut Creek, and Antioch, and the Walnut Creek and Antioch Medical Centers. Our talented, diverse group of neurologists are subspecialized in various fields, including vascular neurology, neuromuscular disorder, movements disorder, epilepsy, neurophysiology, headache, and sleep medicine. 

 

NEURO-ONCOLOGIST

Part-Time Opening in Redwood City, California

The Neuro-Oncology group consists of neurosurgery, radiation oncology, neuropathology, neuroradiology, neuropsychology, and two full-time Neuro-Oncologists. The Program is supported by an RN Case Manager and oral chemotherapy pharmacy team. The work schedule is three/four days/week as a part-time MD position in neuro-oncology, and there is no call. The position is housed under the department of neurosurgery at Kaiser Permanente in Redwood City. Mainly clinical management, but opportunities for research. Tumor board on Fridays with 15-20+ cases discussed. Redwood City is in the heart of Silicon Valley with many activities nearby (Lake Tahoe, San Francisco city, sports teams) and a family-friendly living environment.

BC/BE CHILD NEUROLOGIST

Oakland, California

We are currently seeking a BC/BE Child Neurologist to join our vibrant practice that houses a neurohospitalist service and outpatient clinics at multiple medical centers in the Central Bay Area, including San Francisco, Oakland, Walnut Creek, Hayward and Santa Rosa. The Division of Neurology is part of a larger Pediatric Department with divisions of critical care, neonatology, oncology-hematology, gastroenterology, surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, otolaryngology, urology, ophthalmology, hospitalists, cardiology, rheumatology, rehabilitation, infectious disease, nephrology, general pediatrics and pulmonology. In addition, we have an independent Pediatric Residency Training program.

 

Located in the East San Francisco Bay Area, the area offers a unique mix of vibrant urban lifestyle with easy access to nature. BC/BE GENERAL CHILD NEUROLOGIST

Roseville, California

We have a busy outpatient practice with strong ancillary support for video visits, telephone visits, and clinic visits in our Roseville hub and 7 satellite clinics in Northern & Central California. Our broad geographic coverage leads to care for a wide range of neuropathology. Inpatient call in our Children’s Hospital (32-bed pediatric ward, 10-bed PICU, and 60-bed level 3 NICU) is one week in four.

 

You will join our vibrant 30+ Pediatric Subspecialty department family (11 medical and 6 surgical pediatric specialties) with whom we collaborate closely to integrate patient care. We are part of a larger regional group of Pediatric Neurologists and Surgical Pediatric Epileptologists in Kaiser Permanente Northern California. The right candidate will have a strong team mentality, broad exposure within pediatric neurology, excellent empathic bedside manner, and a desire to innovate Child Neurology care in a supportive environment.

BC/BE CHILD NEUROLOGIST

Santa Clara, California

We are currently seeking a part-time (70% time) BC/BE Child Neurologist to join our group of Child Neurologists. Subspecialty expertise such as Neuromuscular, Neuroimmunology, Headache, or other would be appreciated, but not required for this general child neurology position. Responsibilities for this clinical position include consultations in the inpatient and outpatient pediatric setting diagnosing and caring for children with a wide range of neuropathology. Outpatient care will include video visits, telephone visits and clinic visits in our Santa Clara hub and two local satellite clinics. 

 

The inpatient setting at our Santa Clara Medical Center includes a 26-bed level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, 24-bed Pediatric ward and 7-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit staffed 24/7 by Pediatric Hospitalists and Pediatric Critical Care/Intensivists. You will join our vibrant, collaborative Santa Clara Pediatric Subspecialty department family, including Cardiology, Child Abuse, Development, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology & Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Neurology, Pulmonology and Rheumatology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pediatric Surgical Specialties. Our group enjoys the support of its team of case managers, registered dietitians, social workers, embedded child psychologists, child life and support staff.
