An academic medical center in Philadelphia is seeking outpatient Neurologists to join its growing neurology team. An EMG/Neuromuscular Neurologist and a Neurohospitalist are needs at the program's main campus. Neurologists with an interest in Neuromuscular/EMG, Epilepsy/EEG, Movement Disorders, Headache, and General Neurology could all be great fits at their nearby community outpatient clinic.

Experienced neurologists, as well as those recently out of training are encouraged to apply if interested in learning more. Enjoy the benefits of a large and collegial neurology team with the opportunity to sub-specialize, have immediate volume, and the support of a large and well-equipped team. The overall system provides many opportunities to be involved in research (though not a requirement) and clinical collaboration, in addition to teaching the program's neurology residents and medical students. The network is dedicated to patient care and commits itself to maintaining a technological edge.

Main Campus Position Highlights:

  • Opportunity to teach Neurology residents and do research
  • EMG/Neuromuscular Medicine position
  • 8am-5pm schedule
  • 1:9 call schedule
  • ½ day administrative time on Fridays
  • 4-6 weeks per year of Inpatient coverage, though an Outpatient only schedule is also available
  • Thrombectomy-capable, Primary Stroke Center
  • 7-on/7-off Stroke/Neurohospitalist position, 26-weeks per year
  • Neurohospitalist covers General & Stroke call -17 weeks/weekends per year
  • 6-weeks PTO, full benefits

Community Campus Highlights:

  • Family, Radiology, and Emergency Medicine Residencies
  • NP and PA support
  • EMG/Neuromuscular Medicine, MS, Movement Disorders, and Headache would be particularly well-supported
  • 8am-5pm schedule
  • ½ day administrative time on Fridays
  • 15-20 patients per day (30 minutes for established, 60 minutes for new)
  • Up to 6 weeks per year of Inpatient, though an Outpatient only schedule is also available
  • Option is available for zero call
  • Opportunity to work with residents 1-2 days per week at main campus, if interested
  • 6-weeks PTO, full benefits
