Outstanding Opportunities with a Premiere Private Practice in Virginia Beach/Norfolk, VA
- Multiple Sclerosis
There is a full-time position available in our private practice. We have a fully accredited multiple sclerosis clinic that was established by Dr. Marcus Rice who retired several years ago. His successor unfortunately moved out of the area for family reasons.
This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate as they would inherit a fully supported clinic of over 1200 Multiple Sclerosis patients. The physician would be able dedicate 100% of their clinic time to see only Multiple Sclerosis/neuroimmunology patients if that was their practice preference. The multiple sclerosis department is comprised of a dedicated multiple sclerosis nurse practitioner, an RN manager specializing in multiple sclerosis, and a busy, on site infusion center. Each support member of our multiple sclerosis team possesses between 4-9 years of multiple sclerosis experience. Additionally, we have a dedicated authorization coordinator responsible for all disease-modifying therapies (DMTs) and a radiology scheduler to guarantee efficient and timely scheduling of diagnostic imaging.
- Neuromuscular
We are recruiting a full-time BC/BE neurologist with expertise in neuromuscular disease and EMG to replace a retiring physician. We are a physician owned and professionally managed neurology practice in the Norfolk Virginia Beach area. We have a full-time EMG tech providing EMG services 5 days a week. This is a strictly outpatient practice with minimal call requirements. Our current neurologists are board certified and have expertise in epilepsy, movement disorders, sleep medicine, multiple sclerosis, and neuromuscular disorders.
