Neurologist - Contractor

The Neurologist shall perform various medical duties covering all neurological disorders.

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform neurologic assessments in the outpatient setting, as inpatient consultations (ward, intensive care unit (ICU), step-down unit, and occasionally recovery room), and occasionally in the emergency room. Periodically provide episodic care to clinic patients on a walk-in basis.
• Examine patients, order and evaluate the full range of tests, including electrophysiology, radiological, and laboratory tests, make diagnoses, and prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic treatments.
• Communicate with patients, refer physicians, and return to the appropriate primary care manager to manage disorders outside the neurology specialty.
