The University of Michigan Department of Neurology is seeking an academic general neurologist to join the department.
The applicant should be well-trained and preferably board certified by the ABPN, although early board eligible candidates are also welcome to apply for the position. The position is supported by an experienced team of medical assistants, nurses and a nurse practitioner, and would join a group of renowned neurologists with varied expertise in headache, neurophysiology, or hospital medicine. We have the capacity to accommodate a number of different job descriptions, including ambulatory only, ambulatory and remote teleneurology consultations, or ambulatory and hospital medicine hybrid positions. We also welcome applicants interested in a mix of general neurology and subspecialty clinical work. There are ample opportunities for teaching of residents and medical students, and significant opportunities for collaborative research in health services, quality, and other areas.
We are excited about diverse candidates with a wide variety of experiences that would add strength to our current team, and most dedicated to candidates who are passionate about delivering the best care and advocacy for our patients.
