Neurology Leadership Opportunity -Columbus, OH

Exceptional opportunity for an experienced BC neurologist (MD/DO) to join a large hospital employed multispecialty practice as Medical Director of Neurology.   They will be the Dyad partner with the Regional Director of Neurosciences to provide physician leadership over the Neurology business unit and participate as a member of the Neuroscience Advisory Council (NAC) and Governance Council for the Mount Carmel Medical Group.

The ideal candidate will have the vision and excitement to grow the neurology service line at Mount Carmel.  Board certification in neurology and at least 5 years of clinical experience is required.   Demonstrated experience leading a physician team would be a plus. We are able to accommodate a general neurologist or most neurology subspecialties for the clinical portion of the opportunity.

Highlights of this opportunity:

Protected weekly administrative time. Clinical home base could be at Mount Carmel East, Mount Carmel St. Ann’s, or Mount Carmel Grove City. Chair the Mount Carmel Health System Neurology Quality Committee Provide mentoring, train, and oversee the performance of the Neurologists and Neurology Advanced Practice Providers As needed, collaborate with the hospitalists, GME program, and surgeons to address processes and decision-making that optimize patient care and promote excellent outcomes.
