Behavioral/Cognitive Neurology/Dementia Academic Position at UCONN Health
The Department of Neurology at UCONN Health (University of Connecticut) is seeking an outstanding clinician educator or clinician scientist with fellowship training or expertise in Behavioral or Cognitive Neurology or experience and focus on treating patients with dementia and neurodegenerative diseases. The Department includes 20 faculty members with a wide range of subspecialty interests. Our residency program, shared with Hartford Healthcare, includes 28 residents and a variety of fellowships. The Geriatrics Center on Aging hosts a Memory Clinic and provides extensive opportunity for research collaboration. UConn John Dempsey Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility that opened in 2016, and Neurology Clinic is housed in the beautiful new Brain and Spine Institute Building a half mile from the Hospital. Our suburban Farmington campus is situated in the scenic Farmington River valley, 10 miles west of downtown Hartford and 90 miles from both New York City and Boston. UConn provides a vibrant academic environment invigorated by the Bioscience Connecticut initiative and our on-campus affiliation with the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine.
