Faculty General Neurologist | UT Health East Texas | Growing Academic Center

UT Health East Texas located in Tyler, TX is seeking a BE/BC General Neurologist to join its faculty team in beautiful east Texas. 

About the Position:

• Currently 6 Neurologists (3 Neurohospitalist, 1 general, 2 movement disorder specialists.) 
• 95% outpatient, 5% inpatient 
• Monday-Friday (8 a.m.-5 p.m.)
• High patient volume due to expanding practice
• Patients: 18+ years old, 12-18 new and follow up mix per day
• Call: Shared night call coverage with outpatient and inpatient physicians
• One weekend call every other month - inpatient
• Neurology Residency potentially starting in 2024
• Opportunity to teach and work with residents 
• Ideal candidate: EEG and EMG/NCU skills preferred ​
