General Neurologist Faculty

The University of Chicago's Department of Neurology is searching for full-time General Neurology faculty members at any rank. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.

Appointees will join a growing neurosciences service line, which includes the opportunity to practice at University of Chicago’s expanding clinical locations both in and outside of our main campus in Hyde Park. Additionally, appointees will participate in clinical, educational and research activities, including outpatient clinic, inpatient service, and involvement with fellow, resident, and medical student education.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) have completed an ACGME accredited residency in neurology, and 4) be board certified or board eligible in neurology and with subspecialty certification if applicable.

We especially welcome applicants with clinical interest or subspecialty training in headache and sleep medicine.

To be considered, those interested must apply through The University of Chicago’s Academic Recruitment job board, which uses Interfolio to accept applications: http://apply.interfolio.com/136505. Applicants must upload a CV including bibliography and cover letter. Review of applications ends when the positions are filled.
