ACADEMIC NEUROLOGIST
BRIGHAM AND WOMEN’S HOSPITAL
DEPARTMENT OF NEUROLOGY
Brigham and Women’s Hospital is seeking a board-certified academic neurologist with strong interest and expertise in Neurology and Sleep Medicine.
The candidate will have the opportunity to develop a clinical practice at Brigham and Women’s/Faulkner Hospital and South Shore Hospital and integrate with academic divisions to pursue academic interests in research and training of residents, fellows, and medical students. There will be participation in inpatient and consultation services.
Hospital appointment is Associate Neurologist and academic title of Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School is commensurate with experience and scholarship in the field.
Candidates should possess/be eligible for a Massachusetts license to practice medicine and be board-eligible or certified in Neurology and Sleep Medicine.
The ideal candidate should have a strong record as a clinician in the management of sleep disorders and should possess a passionate commitment to patient care, academics, and teaching. Academic appointment at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements. The Harvard appointment carries an obligation to teach within the Harvard community a minimum of 50 hours per year. We anticipate the successful candidate will be qualified for appointment at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level. A commitment to clinical excellence and to clinical teaching is sought.
