A large healthcare system in Upstate NY is recruiting for an additional interventional neurologist and neurointensivist to join their team!

Interventional Highlights:

  • 26 weeks of service/ year
  • See ~125 interventional cases and ~200 diagnostic cases per year
  • Medical/ Surgical/ Neuro ICU with 14 beds, flexed to meet each service's needs. Separate 16-bed cardio-vascular ICU
  • Bi-planar angio, Camino ICP monitoring equipment, CSF drainage equipment, Cadwell vEEG monitoring
  • Closed NeuroICU service for support
  • Use of Epic EMR
  • Level II Trauma Center and pending Comprehensive Stroke Center
  • Faculty appointment available
  • APC support
  • Competitive compensation package with student loan forgiveness option
  • H1-b sponsorship

Neurointensivist Highlights:

  • 7 on - 7 off schedule, 24/7 coverage during on week
  • Medical/ Surgical/ Neuro ICU with 14 beds, flexed to meet each service's needs. Separate 16-bed cardio-vascular ICU
  • Bi-planar angio, Camino ICP monitoring equipment, CSF drainage equipment, Cadwell vEEG monitoring
  • Avg. daily patient census is 8-10
  • Closed NeuroICU service
  • Close collaboration with neurosurgery
  • Faculty appointment
  • Use of Epic EMR
  • Level II Trauma Center and pending Comprehensive Stroke Center
  • APC support
  • Competitive compensation package with student loan forgiveness option
  • H1-b sponsorship available
