The Department of Neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Neurology Stroke Program Leader to join our team and spearhead the development and growth of our stroke program. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our comprehensive stroke center’s capabilities.

 

MCW/Froedtert Hospital is one of only three Comprehensive Stroke Centers in the state.  You will be part of a highly respected group of cerebrovascular specialists who collaborate as part of the Froedtert Acute Stroke Team (FAST), which serves as a large regional referral center for patients with complex stroke.

    Lead the strategic planning and development of the Neuro Stroke Program, ensuring it aligns with MCW’s missions and goals Join the largest and most comprehensive Neurology group in the state of Wisconsin, with programs in Adult NeurologyChild Neurology, and Neuropsychology with more than 70 faculty Top national performer in door-to-needle time Diverse patient population Extensive investments in the Neuroscience Institute ACGME-accredited neurovascular fellowship program, CAST accredited Neurointerventional program, UCNS accredited Neurocritical Care program
 

Education, training, and experience required

    Fellowship training in Vascular Neurology Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Neurology Wisconsin licensure or eligible for licensure Appropriate clinical/research/teaching experience Successful candidates should bring strong clinical abilities, well-refined interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and commitment to MCW’s academic missions
