Movement Disorders Subspecialist or General Neurologist with other subspecialty interest needed in Memphis, Tennessee. Research-oriented private practice with large volume clinical trials enterprise. Newly renovated clinic space in the heart of Memphis. Large exam rooms and copious shared space for staff and research coordinators. Opportunity for academic appointment at the University of Memphis or other local university (Rhodes, Christian Brothers). Clinic provides a full array of services including botulinum toxin injections, EMG, DBS, Neuravive, neurogenetics, clinical research, and Huntington Disease Center of Excellence Clinic. Inpatient hospital coverage is an option for interested individuals but not required. Easily able to earn over $325,000/year.
Memphis is a wonderful place to live with inexpensive housing, excellent public schools in the nearby suburbs of Germantown, Arlington, Hernando, and Collierville, minimal traffic, beautiful falls, mild winters, good food, nice people, professional sports (Grizzlies, Redbirds, Memphis 901 FC), great music, copious biking trails, two indoor climbing gyms, massive dog-friendly parks, and nearby access to fishing and water sports.
