Neurologist Opportunity in "Aggieland" College Station, Texas

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a BC/BE Neurologist to join in “Aggieland” College Station, Texas.  EMG skills are desired.

Position Highlights

• Join an established general neurology practice to provide general neurological care to patients.
• There are currently 3 neurologists in the department who practice general neurology and 1 neurologist has a focus on epilepsy care, in addition to seeing general neurology patients.
• The work setting is primarily outpatient with a light mix of inpatient responsibilities.
• The clinic schedule is Monday through Friday.
• Call is minimal,1:4, typically rotated each week by PHONE ONLY.
• Acute strokes are handled by the regional tele-stroke team.
• There is a full- service neuro lab with EMG, EEG, and NCV capabilities, while continuously developing additional EEG services.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine

• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board

• Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialists or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
