Neurologist (Dementia and Alzheimer's)

The Neurology service at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center seeks a full-time Neurology Staff Physician to join a vibrant and cohesive group of general and sub-specialty trained Neurologists. The Neurology Attending Physician will subspecialized in neurobehavior, memory and dementia and post-COVID neurology. The successful candidate will staff and direct a dementia and Alzheimer's clinic as well as the post-COVID Neurology Clinic. He or she will also provide general neurologic service at the hospital. The Staff Neurologist will be responsible for providing the most effective delivery of neurologic care throughout the medical center in compliance with VA and VHA Directives and The Joint Commission accreditation standards. The Neurologist is expected to perform all services required in the practice of Neurology in the context of the VA system and his/her clinical privileges; and provide appropriate documentation in the medical record.
