Allina Health Neuroscience, Spine & Pain Institute is a comprehensive Neuroscience Institute and is looking for a variety of Neurologists to support the continued growth of our program.
Our quaternary hospital, Abbott Northwestern, is ranked in the Top 50 hospitals in the United States for Neurology/Neurosurgery by US News and World Report.
Opportunities Available:
- Neurohospitalist 7 on/7 off schedule, 182 shifts per year = full-time Opportunity to pick up extra shifts for increased earning potential Consultative service in partnership with Neuro Intensivists/Criticalists Teleneurology is a component of the practice Three locations: Abbott Northwestern Hospital (Comprehensive Stroke Center), United Hospital (Comprehensive Stroke Center) and Mercy Hospital (Thrombectomy Capable)
Stroke Neurologist 7 on/7 off schedule, 182 shifts per year = full-time Pure stroke position – only dealing with general neurology when taking night call (majority of call is for stroke) Telestroke is a component of the practice Dementia Neurologist Located at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in a hospital-based clinic Standard clinic hours, Monday – Friday with off-site call coverage by phone Fellowship in Dementia, Geriatric Neurology, Cognitive/Behavioral Neurology preferred but open to anyone with strong interest in Dementia Neuro-Oncologist Clinical practice based at Abbott Northwestern Hospital Part of Givens Brain Tumor Center, a highly recognized and established program Standard clinic hours, Monday – Friday with off-site call coverage by phone Work in collaboration with neurosurgeons, neuro radiologists, radiation oncologists, and neuropathologists as well as APPs, specialized nursing staff, and social workers
