The department includes more than 20 faculty members with a wide range of subspecialty interests. Our residency program, shared with Hartford Healthcare, includes 28 residents and a variety of fellowship programs. UConn John Dempsey Hospital is a modern state-of-the-art facility that opened in 2016, and Neurology Clinic is housed in the beautiful new Outpatient Pavilion. Our suburban Farmington campus is situated in the scenic Farmington River valley, 10 miles west of downtown Hartford and 90 miles from both New York City and Boston. UConn provides a vibrant academic environment invigorated by the Bioscience Connecticut initiative and our on-campus affiliation with the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine.
