Behavioral/Cognitive Neurology/Dementia Academic Position

The Department of Neurology at UCONN Health (University of Connecticut) is seeking an outstanding clinician educator or clinician scientist with fellowship training or expertise in Behavioral Neurology, Cognitive Neurology or Dementia/ Neurodegeneration. The Department includes 20 faculty members with a wide range of subspecialty interests. Our residency program, shared with Hartford Healthcare, includes 28 residents and a variety of fellowships. The Geriatrics Center on Aging hosts a Memory Clinic and provides extensive opportunity for research collaboration. The replacement UConn John Dempsey Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility that opened in 2016, and our Neurology Clinic is housed in the beautiful new Outpatient Pavilion. Our suburban Farmington campus is situated in the scenic Farmington River valley, 10 miles west of downtown Hartford and 90 miles from both New York City and Boston. UConn provides a vibrant academic environment invigorated by the Bioscience Connecticut initiative and our on-campus affiliation with the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine.
