As we continue to grow and expand, the Departments of Neurology and Otolaryngology at Northwell Health are seeking a BC/BE Neurologist with a focus in Vestibular Disorders to coordinate multi-disciplinary care for our patients. The successful candidate will have completed an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency program and has demonstrated excellence in the treatment of patients with vestibular disorders as evidenced by regional or national recognition as a leader in the management of these patients.  A dual academic appointment in the departments of Neurology and Otolaryngology at the Zucker School of Medicine will be commensurate with experience, candidates will be expected to participate in the training of residents and students.

 

The position is based on Long Island, in the Department of Neurology, and the physician will be expected to see patients at both the Long Island Jewish Medical Center campus and the Lenox Hill Hospital campus on the upper east side of Manhattan in collaboration with the Otolaryngology departments at these campuses.  Candidates with a special interest in the multidisciplinary care of the complex neurotologic, neoplastic, cranial nerve, skull base, neuroendocrine and neurovascular patients are especially encouraged to apply.   Opportunities for collaborative clinical and translational research exist and are encouraged.

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future
