Associate Director, Sports Neurology

Mass General Brigham

The Departments of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital are seeking a neurologist to serve as Associate Director for Clinical Operations in the Mass General Brigham (MGB) Sports Neurology and Neuroscience Program and to join the faculty of Harvard Medical School.

The successful candidate should have had clinical training in sports neurology and demonstrated proficiency in the clinical practice of sports neurology. Under the supervision of the Director, MGB Sports Neurology and Neuroscience, the candidate will have responsibilities for organizing the clinical operations of the Mass General Brigham Sports Neurology Program across practice sites and will have responsibilities for teaching, supervising, and mentoring Harvard medical students, Mass General Brigham residents, and fellows.  The candidate will also contribute to the Mass General Brigham Sports Medicine Program by integrating sports neurology into this comprehensive multidepartmental program. While clinical, research, and administrative experience is desirable, outstanding candidates at earlier stages of their careers are specifically encouraged to apply.

Appointment at the Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements.  Suitable candidates will have an M.D. or M.D.-Ph.D. degrees. We anticipate the successful candidate will be qualified for appointment at the Instructor or Assistant Professor of Neurology level. Applications from women and representatives of minority groups are welcomed and encouraged.

Interested candidates should submit a curriculum vitae and letter describing interests and experience to:

Tracy Batchelor, M.D. and Merit Cudkowicz, M.D.

Co-Chairs, MGB Sports Neurology Search Committee
