An Academic Program in Mississippi is recruiting neurologists with fellowship training in Neuromuscular Neurology, Movement Disorders, Neurocritical Care, and Vascular Neurologists with interest in tele-neurology to join their growing neuroscience department. They are excited to partner with the new neurologists to develop comprehensive centers in both Movement Disorders and Neuromuscular Neurology. Currently, the neurocritical care division consists of 5 neurointensivists and 8 APPs. The institution is developing tele-neurology services to provide additional support to health systems throughout the region.
Medical Center Highlights:
- Level 1 Trauma Center
- Level 4 Epilepsy Center
- 722-Bed Hospital
- 20-bed Dedicated Neuro-ICU (with occasional overflow beds off-unit)

Neurocritical Care Faculty Highlights:
- Teaching is a critical component
- 7-on/7-off schedule
- Support for Basic Science Research
- If a candidate has additional fellowship training and would like to see neurocritical care and another subspecialty volume, this can be accommodated

- Neuropathologist with special training and experience in nerve and muscle biopsies on staff
- Multidisciplinary muscular dystrophy association (MDA) and ALS clinics

- Facility averages 1,500 EMGs/year
