The University of Toledo COMLS Department of Neurology is recruiting a General Neurologist and Pediatric Neurologist to join their expanding department, a collaborative team that includes a variety of neurology specialties and services. www.utoledo.edu/med/depts/neurology

The University has operationalized an educational affiliation with a comprehensive health care network of specialized hospitals and outpatient facilities in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. Nationally recognized for excellence in education and clinical care, the Department administrates a 4-week required clerkship for medical students, a thriving Neurology residency program and several fellowship programs.

The General Neurologist will have the opportunity to choose the practice structure that best suits their professional goals and lifestyle: outpatient only or traditional model of predominantly outpatient with some flexible inpatient coverage.  Both options also provide a potential opportunity for tele-neurology as well. 

The Pediatric Neurologist will provide inpatient and outpatient services at The Toledo Hospital and the Neurosciences Center.  This position includes teaching responsibilities for medical students and residents, as well as, playing an active role in the Neurology residency and Pediatric residency programs. Research opportunities are also available based on interest and expertise.

Pediatric Neurology

Movement Disorder

  • Participate in an active and well-established movement disorder program with two other neurologists and additional advanced practice provider.
  • Fellowship in movement disorder provides additional educational opportunity for new faculty.
  • Ability to participate in clinical trials with a very active research program

Generalist

  • Teleneurology and outpatient clinical opportunities available
  • Favorable call schedule, with teaching inpatient services staffed by residents and medical students.
  • Practice in the brand new, state-of-the art inpatient and outpatient clinical facility
