A large academic medical center in Philadelphia is seeking outpatient neurologists to join their growing neurology team, and a neurointensivist for summer 2023. In addition to General Neurology, sub-specialists with an interest in Movement Disorders are of particular interest, however those with interests in Headache would also be well supported. The academic medical center is also seeking outpatient Neurologists to join its growing neurology team at its nearby community outpatient clinic. A Neurohospitalist could also be a great fit.

Enjoy the benefits of a large and collegial neurology team, with all the trappings of academia - subspecialization, neurology resident teaching, and APP support, but none of the pressures to publish and pursue research unless desired. Enjoy immediate volume, the support of their well-equipped neurology program, and above-average compensation.

Main Campus Position Highlights:

  • Outpatient-focused positions and Neurocritical Care
  • Sub-specialization available and encouraged
  • 8am-5pm schedule
  • ½ day administrative time on Fridays
  • 7-on/7-off schedule for Neurocritical Care
  • 4-6 weeks per year of Inpatient coverage, though an Outpatient only schedule is also a possibility
  • 1:9 call schedule
  • Opportunities for teaching and research

Community Hospital Position Details:

  • 100% Outpatient, mixed Inpatient/Outpatient Neurology, or Neurohospitalist
  • All subspecialties encouraged to apply
  • Movement Disorders and Headache would be particularly well-supported
  • 8am-5pm schedule
  • ½ day administrative time on Fridays
  • 15-20 patients per day (30 minutes for established, 60 minutes for new)
  • Up to 6 weeks per year of Inpatient, though Outpatient only schedule also available
  • Option is available for zero call
  • Opportunities to teach residents
