An academically-affiliated hospital in the Greater Houston area is seeking a Neurocritical Care specialist to help build their expanding program. Join a collegial team that consists of neurosurgeons, neurohospitalists, intensivists, a neuropsychologist, and social workers as well as a team of dedicated nurse practitioners. This is an exciting opportunity with an extremely supportive administration and financially stable organization that strives to be a leader in the Houston market.
Position Highlights:
- 100% Neurocritical Care volume
- 8 bed ICU with flex capability
- Goal is to implement system-wide virtual Neuro ICU support
- Team of Endovascular Neurosurgeons, Neurohospitalists and a dedicated Neuro ICU NP
- Medical Directorship role for the right candidate
- Research and teaching opportunities available
- H-1B Visa support
