An award-winning hospital in the southern Midwest is hiring for a variety of neurological subspecialties to join their robust neurological team. The location is part of an eight hospital, 2100 bed health system. Named as one of the best places to work in its state for the ninth year in a row; this hospital is a primary stroke center and a proud recipient of the Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award from the American Stroke Association. The system is also hiring 1 general neurologist and neurologists with interest in epilepsy, clinical neurophysiology, and neurohospitalist work for their regional hospitals.

Subspecialties that are needed include:

  • Acute Epileptologists
  • Neuromuscular or Clinical Neurophysiology EMG
  • MS Specialist
  • Movement Disorders
  • Neurohospitalists
  • Vascular Neurohospitalists

  • Primary Stroke Center certification

Position Highlights

  • No inpatient call
  • Two year guaranteed base pay, followed by a complete RVU model
  • 7 on-7off schedules for Neurohospitalists
  • Neurohospitalist group: 7 Physicians and 6 APCs
  • Thrombectomy capable stroke center with 3 referring sites
  • 3k a month training stipend available for current trainees

The hospital is a 300-bed regional facility comprised of 450 physicians/providers in 32 specialties. Recipient of the Get with the Guidelines – Stroke GOLD PLUS with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite Plus in 2022, this hospital is a Primary Stroke Center. The health system includes 8 hospitals with over 1,500 providers, including 800 physicians and more than 700 advanced practice clinicians.

General Neurology Practice Highlights:

  • Inpatient/Outpatient Split
  • Clinic hours are 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday
  • Two-year income guarantee with opportunity for additional productivity and quality bonuses
  • Join a team of 1 Neurologist, 3 APRNs, and support staff
  • Catchment area of 450,000

Neurohospitalist, Epilepsy, Clinical Neurophysiology Hospital Information:

225-bed non-profit hospital located 5 miles from Louisville, KY. Recipient of the Get With The Guidelines® Stroke Silver Plus award, this hospital is a Primary Stroke Center and is currently building an 11-bed EMU. This collegial health system includes 8 hospitals with over 1,500 providers, including 800 physicians and more than 700 advanced practice clinicians.

Neurohospitalist, Epilepsy, Clinical Neurophysiology Practice Highlights:

  • 7on-7off schedule for Neurohospitalist
  • Mon-Fri schedule for Outpatient Neurologist
  • Epileptologist and Clinical Neurophysiology specialist can walk into immediate volume
  • Support includes two APRNs and two Physicians
  • Two-year income guarantee with opportunity for additional productivity and quality bonuses
