Faculty Position

Autoimmune Neurology

Brigham and Women’s Hospital

The Department of Neurology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) is seeking an academic neurologist to serve as a leader of the Autoimmune Neurology program at BWH and to join the faculty of Harvard Medical School.

The successful candidate should be an expert in a particular area of autoimmune neurology with a national or international reputation and a record of research and publication.  The successful candidate will establish their own translational research program in a particular area and will lead a larger effort to build a strong translational research program linking our basic immunology community to appropriate clinical areas. While substantial clinical and research experience is desirable, outstanding candidates at earlier stages of their careers will be considered.

Appointment at the Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements.  Suitable candidates will have M.D. or M.D.-Ph.D. degrees. In addition, it is expected that the candidate will engage in teaching in the Harvard community with a minimum of 50 hours required per year. We anticipate that the successful candidate will be qualified for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor of Neurology level. Applications from women and representatives of minority groups are welcomed and encouraged.

Interested candidates should submit a Curriculum Vitae and letter describing interests and experience to:
