A community health system in partnership with a major twin cities university is seeking a stroke neurohospitalist to join their innovative and high caliber team.
Hospital and Department Highlights:
- Neurology Residency Program with 6 residents a year
- Fellowship Programs in Clinical Neurophysiology, Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, MS, Neurocritical Care, Neuromuscular Medicine, and Vascular Neurology
- Level III trauma center
- Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Level 4 Comprehensive Epilepsy Center
- 18-bed dedicated neurocritical care ICU
- Telestroke in place, ambulances equipped for telestroke
Practice Highlights:
- Consult service
- 20 weeks of service
- 7/7 shift model scheduling
- Robust support staff to include 7 dedicated stroke APP’s
- Teaching opportunity; 3 stroke fellows per year, residents and medical students
- Research opportunities abound, evidence-based medicine and clinical trials
