The Departments of Neurology and Pediatrics at Columbia University seeks a full-time child neurologist specializing in Neonatal Neurology. This new, specialized clinical position will support the divisions of Child Neurology and Neonatology by providing inpatient neonatal neurocritical care in our 75-bed level IV NICUs in New York Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, and outpatient care for NICU graduates in Columbia’s Neonatal GRaD and Child Neurology outpatient clinics. Additional opportunities in fetal neurology consultation in our Prenatal Pediatrics Clinic are available if desired. Active participation in Child Neurology and Neonatology faculty activities, including trainee teaching and mentorship, as well as cross-departmental program development will be welcomed and encouraged.
The successful candidate will be appointed at the Assistant or Associate Professor level depending on experience with an academic appointment at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University. The candidate must: have an MD, DO, or equivalent degree; be Board Certified/Eligible in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology plus additional training in Newborn Neurology, and be eligible to practice in New York State.
