Multiple Sclerosis/Neuroimmunology Neurologist

The Department of Neurology, University of California, Irvine seeks an outstanding, fellowship trained BC/BE Neurologist in the field of Neuroimmunology/Multiple Sclerosis further develop the clinical service for patients with MS and other neuroimmunological disorders, clinical research and trials. The position is offered in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP) or Clinical Neurology series at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank commensurate with experience. The candidate will join an active clinical and research program that has been designated by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as a “Comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis Care Center” as well as a “Collaborative Multiple Sclerosis Research Center”. The MS clinic is on the campus of the University of California, Irvine and is the only academic MS program serving the ~3 million people in the Orange County area. The candidate is expected to develop a robust clinical practice with significant activity in clinical trials. Involvement in medical student education and our residency training program is also expected. The applicant must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. and fellowship in the field of Neuroimmunology/Multiple Sclerosis. Salary, rank, and other clinical series may be considered depending on qualifications.
