The Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking a Neurologist with expertise in neuromuscular disease to join our practice.

The Neuromuscular Division is looking for a subspecialty-trained physician who is board certified in Neurology and board certified or board eligible in Neuromuscular Medicine.  The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to see complex patients with a variety neuromuscular disorders.  Additional necessary skills and responsibilities include providing neuromuscular disease care in outpatient and inpatient environments, and performance and interpretation of EMG and evoked potentials.  Expertise in single-fiber, diaphragmatic, and ultrasound-guided EMG techniques is required.

Candidates must have strong clinical skills and have a demonstrated track record of academic success in research and education.  They must also demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and capacity to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of consultants and support staff.  Neuromuscular Division faculty are actively engaged in education of medical students, residents, and clinical neurophysiology fellows.  Our environment provides rich opportunities for clinical and neurophysiological research that are enhanced by established collaborations across Mayo Clinic sites.  Board Certified in Neurology and Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neuromuscular Medicine Over the next four years, Mayo Clinic is making significant investments in both the physical and technological future of health care, through doubling the size of the Mayo Clinic campus in Phoenix, inclusive of practice, education, and research activities.
