Saint Luke’s Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute is seeking a BC/BE Neuro-hospitalist with interest in Vascular Neurology to join a team of 11 neurologists and neuro-hospitalists. Candidates completing training as well as experienced leaders are invited to apply. Vascular neurology fellowship training is preferred.

This is a premier opportunity to work among the nation’s best at a Comprehensive Stroke Center. Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City provides the region’s most advanced stroke care, including stroke-reversal therapies and treatment to more than 4,000 patients each year. 

Position Highlights

  • Saint Luke’s is a leader in using both drug and mechanical interventions to reverse the permanent and debilitating effects of ischemic stroke—our doctors performed one of the world’s first intra-arterial stroke reversal procedures in 1993
  • Academic appointments are available at University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine commensurate with level of experience
  • Supported by interventional neuroradiologists; 24/7 code neuro nurse team; and advanced practice providers, all collaborating in an 18-bed, dedicated neuro ICU
  • Position will work 15 to 17 shifts per month at the Comprehensive Stroke Center and a busy, metropolitan Primary Stroke Center
