Director, Center for Neurodegeneration
Position Description
The Department of Neurology at NYU Langone Health and the NYU Grossman School of Medicine is seeking a fellowship-trained neurologist for a full-time faculty position as the director of a newly created multi-departmental center for neurodegeneration. This position offers an opportunity for rapid professional advancement and development of a new center at the institution. The director’s role is to provide leadership and a growth strategy for this joint effort between the departments of neurology, psychiatry, radiology, geriatrics and pathology. The position will be supported by an endowment and a named professorship in Neurology. NYU Langone Health Neurology and Neurosurgery are ranked first by U.S. News Best Hospitals in 2022-2023.
Qualifications
Expertise in cognitive neurology or movement disorders is required. The successful candidate will have a combination of clinical excellence, research experience in an academic setting, and leadership skills. The physician leader should be committed to NYU Langone Health’s vision of excellence in clinical care, research, and education.
