Our Practice Model

Our practice model, built around excellent patient care and safety, consists of multi-specialty focused neurologists in the outpatient setting along with our neurohospitalist for inpatient.  This mixed model offers opportunities for physicians to focus in preferred areas of neurology, and promotes improved work-life balance. The neurohospitalist manages general neurology and critical care neurology patients throughout the hospital.  Our neurology NP works closely with the physician and further promotes patient safety and care consistency. Lake Forest Hospital is a Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center with Level II Trauma designation and Magnet status.
