Our neurologists work closely with 30 neurosurgeons and 30 research scientists in a facility that is uniquely state-of-the-art. Job Summary:  Work with an experienced, highly skilled, and comprehensive team of neurological specialists in BNI’s rapidly expanding adult Headache Division and Jan and Tom Lewis Migraine Center at Barrow Neurological Institute/CommonSpirit dba St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. We provide comprehensive, compassionate, and cutting-edge care in one of the largest dedicated headache programs nationwide. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a high volume, diverse, and medically complex patient population; a phenomenal multidisciplinary group of highly collaborative neurologists, specialized nurses, and pharmacists improving the daily life of headache patients and exceeding their expectations. Teaching responsibilities will include instruction of medical students, neurological Residents, rotating Fellows, and advanced practice providers. We function as a highly cohesive division with an expectation of camaraderie, teamwork, and professionalism

Job Specifications: Applicants must have a Doctorate PhD or PsyD from an APA accredited program. Two or more years of clinical psychology experience in a Rehabilitation or Headache Fellowship program with emphasis on neurological populations. ABPP Board certification in Rehabilitation psychology or Health psychology or Clinical psychology preferred. Special skills include competence in Biofeedback, Mindfulness, CBT experience with neurological or neurosurgical patient populations; experience in rehabilitation and/or psychotherapy health preferred two years prior to the proposed start date. Program development skills required. Ability to obtain a State of Arizona psychologist license at the time of employment.
